I looking into purchasing a exhaust and the final two options are Mazdaspeed or Borla... My mazda dealer said i shouldnt get the same exhaust that would go on a truck and said not to get the borla but i think he is bias. What do u think is better out of the two and what other not so super expensive exhaust are out there that add the most hp.

 

I am actually getting the MS Dual Canister this week as well.


I heard they are about the same in HP. You don't get that much more hp with a catback I believe roughly 5ish?

 

I can't speak about the Borla but I owned the MS for several months before I traded it in for RaceBeat system. You can read my review and experience with the MS at the following link. Hope it helps. HP gain for any of these system will be negligible.

I'm surprised they didn't say they would void your warranty for even mentioning exhaust. Must be one of the few good Mazda stealerships
