protective cover for manual stolen

So I walk outside this morning to find everything that was in my glovebox laying outside next to my car, glovebox open. Obviously someone went into my car during the night. Now I have discovered that my remote isn't working, so I assume thats why the doors didn't lock last night. Anyway, the only thing stolen was the protective covering the manual came in (manual wasn't even in it...I have it in the house)...and the $5 pair of gloves that was laying in the passenger seat. All my insurance paperwork was still there, registration, title, etc. Also a bunch of cd's were untouched. Weird.

Obviously my fault since the doors were unlocked, but I figured I should contact the police anyway. They informed me there has been a lot of that going around in my area...and they figure it's just kids horsing around.

Just thought I'd vent... this has had me irked all day.

LOL I was waiting for someone to say it! Actually all I had was a bunch of burned CDs so it was quite the variety.

He probably did the same thing I did. I caught someone trying to pry the door open to unlock it. Now my B pillar is jacked up, but I also had to remove two dents from the incident. One was in the front passenger door, the other was on the front left fender. One was from where I punched him in the kidney, the other was where his head hit the fender on his way to the ground. I posted photos of the damage to the door, I just don't want to go find out what it will cost to get it fixed. I am going to first attempt to smooth it out and just put carbon fiber pillar covers over it.

My head may or may not have met his nose, and it's possible that I had him doing push-ups while I articulated in detail (in a drunken slur) what would happen if he or his friends were ever to return. His friends took off and left him sobbing. Oh, the things friends will do for each other...

It might be what he deserved, but at the moment it cost me 200 dollars for paintless dent repair, luckily the paint was fine. That doesn't include the pry damage on the door. I am debating getting it fixed, just covering it, or replacing the door. Either way this is going to be expensive.

Lesson learned: don't use car to soften his fall!
