I just purchased a 04 and would like to know how to find out production
numbers on these cars.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Hey what kind of "production numbers" are you looking for? IE: Prodution numbers to date? PN to year? Make, Model?

 

Go to http://www.mazda.com/publicity/ . On the left under "Production and Sales Results" click on the model year you are interested in.

Just remember these are from Mazda Corporate perpspective. "Production" is the number of RX-8s built and sold to distributers (like Mazda North America). "Domestic" means "Japan" and "International" means all other countries (including the US).

In terms of your car, you can find the build month/date on the tag on the driver's door jamb.
