Pricing Question
Hey all, I plan on purchasing an RX-8 here in the next couple of weeks. I have wanted one for quite some time now. Their is one imparticular that I have my eyes on. I just wanted some honest opinions about the price. It is an 06' Shinka MT with 42,000 miles on it and it has a very good service history. Like the every 3000 mile service, never been missed. The dealer wants $14,984 for it. I live in Indiana and cars have been tough to sell off of lots and also winter is fast approaching. Do you think $14,500 is a reasonable offer or should I start lower? I know that these cars are a niche market and also january tax time is coming up for the dealer. Any and all suggestions would be great. I'm going for the test drive in 2 days. The reason I ask is, I know these vehicles are hard to sell due to the high maintenance nature of the rotary. It takes a special kind of person to buy one. I'm ok with taking care of my car like its my child and spending a little extra money on maintenance to acheive the driving experience this car delivers. Thanks again, Kyle
