I got one when I was 16 and that was 20 years ago. I've been pulled over after that but they let me go for some reason.

 

A cop claimed to clock me at 104 but wrote ticket for 99. I was probably going 120 but by the time I saw him I slowed down a little before he turned his radar on. I was on the Turnpike and he clocked me going in the opposite direction. He had to turn in median and catch up to me. The other car who was speeding with me he let go as we both pulled over. He pulled between us and told him to go. He came right up and asked how fast I was going and I told him 93-94 to which he replied 104. I said NO. He asked what the diffence between 104 and 94. I told him I know that over 25 is huge ticket and I know better. He said anything over 30 is an appearance in front of a judge. He then asked for my license and then came back and told me he put it for 99 so I could go to Traffic school. I think what saved me was my clean driving record and I was dressed for work.
