So Friday night I get stopped no more then two blocks from my home. Rate of travel was under the speed limit and turn signals were used. I get pulled over because of my exhaust system was modified. Now with me being the type of guy that pays attention to the actions of a cop. I came to a conclusion that she didn't tell me why she stopped me first off, second my registation was not asked for, third there was no use of a dB meter to say if the exhaust was modified or not. Clearly it was. Finaly, my own fault but, the ticket is under a different car. She took my insuraince card and wrote down my old car after I told her what type of car mine is. LOL..

Needless to say its being thrown out..

Now Sunday, or today for some of us. I got pulled over going 75 in a 60 and clocked at 81. lol.. so my ticket is for 21 over the speed limit.. I emit I was traveling with a bit of haste but not 81. The guy next to me pulled past me a few hundred meters before "I" got pulled over. Althought I was in the fast lane with a 18wheeler blocking my vision of the motorcycle cop the whole time. (what happened to the I dont see him he dont see me thing.) BS.. I have a red sports car and he had a damn camry where is the law in this one. ??

and two "disobedience of a traffic control devices" aka bs ticket to give instead of speeding cause I'm military.

Both speeding tickets were out of state thank god.

Well i was heading to the to a friends house inn Miami so i was hauling ***. I was speeding and got pulled supposedly going 145mphs in a 70 mph zone. I was the only one on the road at the time.


I got the ticket thrown out for not having proof of my speed and numerous technicalities.

well I'e had my 8 since oct of last year and no tickets..till now.. go figure. speeding is speeding.. bad choice of timing i guess.. maybe i should buy a radar detector or something.. my guess for a 20mile over the limit is about 250 bucks to 300.. ouch.. I'm military too.. life sucks when you stationed somewhere everyone is military

I got my car TOWED for not having a cat on..

No previous tickets.

It's awesome too because I've got headers and AP exhaust, all I had in my basement was a high-flow cat and now its AT LEAST twice as loud...

Super cop fail. I'm gonna get pulled over for excessive noise again probably like I was last time I had my cat pipe on

since I don't feel like uploading my ticket I'll just post how fast I was going...
99 in a 50 lol... It was in a construction zone at 12 luckily with no workers, but the speed was reduced by 10 mph so the speed would have been 60mph which would look better than almost doubling the speed limit.

I don't know how much it cost because I got it on 3/06 and the court date was like the 21st. I paid a lawyer like $25 in hopes he would help me get a reduced fine and hopefully not get my licence revoked... I still haven't got anything in the mail from the lawyer so idk how much it's going to be or exactly what's gonna happen. I'll try and keep yall posted...

theyre a dime a dozen for traffic tickets ... ive had 37 tickets in the past 3 years and ONLY 4 have held up in court and made it on my record the rest of em ALL dismissed thanks to a $75 lawyer hes my lifesaver lol

I've only had 2 speeding tickets *somehow*. Both were in my N/A RX-7. Somehow I never got one with my Turbo 7's or the 8.

37 tickets in 3 years? That's crazy stuff. Either cops are super strict there or you need to change your driving habits in a major way.

Well gentlemen. It seems we have us some speeders.. Meow look here boys.. Fun is fun and stupid is stupid.. But most of the time.. Stupid is fun and fun, well is being stupid so.. Have fun..Or be stupid.. which ever comes first for you.. Me how ever.. I'm still trying to figure out how to get out of my ticket since I have to go to the field on the Apr 20th to like the 13th of May.. Hmmm.. strange.. huh...

^ I would have to pay $500 for the lawyer to take it to court and fight it... So not exactly sure happening yet... Which is why I'm worried lol, being 17 this ticket is huge... I assume my lawyer does the same thing as rod's. He normally cost $75 but I had a letter for a discount. So we will see if he can do anything to help me out...

from a cop friend of mine.... protest the ticket in court by appearing, when called, say you want to speak to the DA - when you get the DA (may have to come back... they don't always show up -must be nice) say you'd like to plead guilty to an 1110A. Worked for me...

i admit i drive fast when traveling between cities ive traveled between numerous cities doing around 100 constantly BUT thats usually late at night as i prefer that time to travel and im a safe driver and i dont swerve in and out of traffic etc and i never speed when the roads are crowded and never speed in the city ... that being said out of the tickets only 4 were speeding 30, 35, 35 and 37 over the limit the reason i had so many is that the police in my city particularly hated me in 08 coz of my exhaust and my blacked out car i got pulled over almost everyday for a semester right outside of school by the same 2 cops and they constantly gave me tickets for 3-5 miles over and warnings for all the stuff they didnt think was legal too bad they dont know texas has no limit for taillight tint and they didnt even run tests on my exhaust to see if it was too loud or not nothing they gave me ever held up and the judge actually handed me a letter of apology along with a contact number after my lawyer threatened to file a harassment complaint against the city and said to call her if they ever pulled me over for the same thing again ... the only tickets that held up were the ones from state troopers when i was travelling between cities and from a city cop who legitimately clocked me at 37 over

i got an 80 in a seventy five in western north dakota... shortly after a horse trailer and truck passed me :/ (but obviously its more dangerous for an rx8 to go 5 over then the horse trailer??)

I had just gotten my 8 back from the shop new exhaust new intake so I wanted to open him up got pulled over doin 101 in a 55 got the ticket and the cop put down the wrong date and spelled my last name wrong ticket got thrown out :-P haha! Just got another on 31 over the limit lookin for a lawyer now!!

I don't see how thats funny. I hope to have to pay out the *** for this ticket. Stopping breaking the law and putting other people in harms way. Go to the track if you want to speed.
