post recall electrical problems

has anyone else had any electrical problems after their airbag recall was done? three days later my radio will suddenly turn off for about 5 to 10 seconds then turn back on. it happens when i turn off the key. also today when i turned into my driveway while i turned the wheel the radio not only turned off the little symbol designating the dsc is off turned on for about 10 seconds and then turned off. i am taking back to the dealer tommorow to get the O2 sensor replaced that they broke when replacingthe airbag and they are going to check this out. two times in a week i will have to be without my baby. sucks!

Hmm... that's definatley not normal.

No problems here... mine came with the recall already done. I'd have that looked at. (duh!)

maybe it's because the dealer did something weird. how did they break the o2 sensor when replacing the airbag? and why were they replacing the airbag?

well it was the airbag recall. and as to how they damaged the o2 sensor your guess is as good as mine. yeah i figure they did something wierd. i just hope this is not one of those intermittant things that never really get fixed. wish me luck.

I have heard of that sort of thing in all makes and models. Usually it is something going awry electrically in the steering column.
