I'd like to see you try that in Va. As soon as you started your story they would have told you to get out of the car and put the cuffs on you. You won't be laughing when it finally catches up to you.

Oh boy, the Ohio cops are gonna love you!

Let me get this straight... you got off a 70-in-35 ticket, you got off a slide-the-back-at-a-red-light ticket, and you're happy about both those things? And you're headed to Ohio?

Your *** is toast!

I'm so glad everyone here bought these cars to follow the law to the letter and always drive like there's a angry cop riding shotgun - you make the downtime at work so much more interesting.

Let's begin! *cracks knuckles*

As much as I love debating, we finished this debate long ago, and I'm not in the mood to have it again. For those of you that are new to the forum, or don't recall this post, here's the super-short version:
I'm driving home - spirited around turns, but obeying the speed limit.
An UBER-ricer Chevy Caviler gets on my *** and wants to race.
I ignore their challenge, and continue along my spirited path home.
I come to my favorite turn, and take it like I always do: hard.
Caviler tries to mimic me, fails, and understeers into the curb.
I laugh, then feel bad, and go back to make sure that no one was hurt.
The car was fucked, the people were fine, so I drove off.
The end.

Draw your own conclusions - I'm done with this topic.

I won't lie, I break my own rules every now and then. Nobody's perfect.

Cause who gives a **** about exs? You've had your fun, now they're useless.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LMFAO!

omg that post just made my day.

I wouldn't even entertain the thought in VA. Never been on those roads, thus I don't know them, thus I wouldn't feel safe trying anything remotely reckless. I'll say again, I only take chances when I'm 99.9% sure that the worst-case scenario results in zero property damage and zero bodily harm.

As soon as you started your story they would have told you to get out of the car and put the cuffs on you.
I don't doubt that it could happen, but the odds are so slight that it doesn't concern me.
You guys have built up this image of me as this guy who does insanely crazy dangerous **** on a day-to-day basis, and has only gotten caught twice in the past 2 months. That's not the case at all! I do something a little risky about once a month - I've just had unfortunate timing these past 2 months!
I'm not arrogant or cocky about my driving in the least. Hell - go back and read some of my posts when I first joined. I openly admit that I'm an average driver at BEST.

The only reason I post these "epic" stories is because this kinda **** never happens to me! I mean, there are some people here that get pulled over & ticketed on a weekly basis - they never post about it, though. Why? Because it's run-of-the mill to them; same ****, different day. 3 months ago, the most "severe" thing a cop had *EVER* approached me for was driving 48 in a 35 (which was bullshit, because I was still coasting off the Goddamned highway offramp!!)

You won't be laughing when it finally catches up to you.
No one ever does.
However, there's not much in "it" to really amount to anything. "It" consists of nothing more than a bunch of tickets for going 10mph over, and 1 or 2 excessive acceleration charges (which is technically a faux-charge for anyone driving a stock 8)

I'll say again: I won't be doing anything dumb in Ohio because I don't know the roads. I don't like taking chances. I get plenty of addrenaline from the occasional minor risk.

Let me get this straight... you got off a 70-in-35 ticket, you got off a slide-the-back-at-a-red-light ticket, and you're happy about both those things?
...

...

...is this a trick question?
Should I be mad that I'm not in a shitton of trouble?

And you're headed to Ohio?

Your *** is toast!
Since when did Ohio have the meanest cops? I lived there for 9 years. Some are dicks, some are not - just like the other 49 states.

We seem to be the only two who feel this way.
Apparently we missed a very important memo.
