anyone running the srmotorsport intake

Anyone running this intake http://www.srmotorsports.com/RX8_Col..._Polished4.jpg without the stock boot part up on where the three air intake tubes connects to.

I use to have an old typhoon version 1 intake when I bought the car and now that I am switching over to this new one, the ram does not have the three connections where I can connect the tubes into.

Is there any alternatives to this or would I have to go out and get the boot strap part on the top there so that I can plug the tubes in.

Not sure if totally capping off the tube is a good idea. Any thoughts or input.

How much would that boot strap cost if anyone have a ball park idea.

Thanks

I'm interested to know if anyone has this setup as well. Do you like the sound (which is suppose to be quieter than others)? Any real hp increase or is that the usual hype?

There are plenty. Do a search.

I think Fan man has one. Check his signature.

I can't speak about the product, but you might want to research the man and his business.

Well those articles/posts truely show how a couple of people can talk trash about a vendor and then everyone jumps on the bandwagon. Wow!

RotaryResurrection, are you making it to the Dragon in September? I've got an 88 convertible that needs some attention. It would be nice to hear your thoughts.

I don't know...there was some pretty extensive evidence posted there...if it were just one or 2 guys saying they got a bad deal, it'd be one thing...but there were several people, who have been on the scene for years, all saying what a ripoff it is. Rarely is a community reputation undeserved, good or bad.

I had planned to be at BOTD, especially after the sponsorship, but come to find out it looks like my loving wife has scheduled our vacation for that week.
