Please make my RX8 ALIVE....HelP...CrY
My english not so good...But hope that you guys help me pls...
My Rx-8 2003 years AUTO ( only 35,000km mileague)
My Rx-8 now totaly in "I.C.U"....Before my car broke down when on the road it was heavy rain and I encountered the floods after this my car engine totaly cannot start and must towing back to mechanic shop repair .
After change the spark plug finally engine can start d.But the worse problem is my RPM are very low,I must press hard the oil only can maintain d engine in stable. If not, the engine will die!
The mechanic told me,1 of the rotary engine dint work so maybe I need to replace new rotary engine. But the problem is don't have any rotary engine got selling. The mechanic can't do anythings.
Anybody what can I do??? My RX8 izit totaly die d??? HeLp me pls....help me plss....

hmm,did your mechanic do a compression test and find out you dont have power in one of your rotors? if it is, then your motor is no good.
Do you sitll have warranty on your car???? if you got warranty then it should be taken care of under your warranty if its still active.

warranty for engine core was extended to 8 years 100,000 miles for 04-08. You are good to go.

Is your car being checked by a mazda mechanic or a rotary mechanic?

you'll have to tell us where you are to help you out.
If your compression is dead you can try a rebuild and replace your seals, but you should have it diagnosed first to see if there are any other issues. If you have other problems you can replace your seals and then turn it on and blow the brand new ones and waste all your work.
I'd assume the engine took in water and compressed it, so seals would do the trick. Import and install.
