Please help a Newb Decide
I was just at the Nissan dealer looking at a 350Z all i can say is that i am not thrilled with the interior of the car.
1. I need help from someone who actually sat in a RX-8
with the Sunroof.
I sat in the Z and was comfortable i am 6,2 223lbs and the car was very nice to sit it.
My main concern with the RX-8 would be head room i am tall so that might be an issue for me. If anyone on this board sat in the RX-8 with the roof plz let me know on interior room.
Also need help with the question i posted earlier about the Auto trans and such.
One thing i have to say is that i just got the brochure for the RX-8 and it blew me away if i have no head room prob i will deffinatly go with the Mazda it makes the 350Z look like dog Sh*t .

First post and I'm already trying to give advice
In the UK the Mazda RX8 website warns customers not to order the sunroof option if the are 6" 3' or taller as there is not enough headroom with it fitted. I'd not have the sunroof if I were you - after all you'll have Air Con!

Well that sucks. I'm 6'4" and wanted the sunroof (in FL).
Mine is coming with a moonroof.

I'm 6'3 210 and pretty much equally proportioned (legs vs. torso)...I sat in both a moonroof and non-moonroof -8 at the Atlanta Rev-it-Up and was pleased with the headroom. There's obviously more room without the moonroof but I had enough room so that my short-spikey hair didn't brush, although it was VERY close. Visibility for me out the windshield was much better than in my 2000 Mustang, i.e. the roofline is higher in the -8 for visibility purposes...i'm always leaning sideways to see traffic lights in the mustang. Also, the leg room in the -8 was better than the mustang...hope this helps.
