I average 14-15 mpg.
Fast starts, quick stops, lots of downshifting.
Keep in mind we have a 13 gal. tank, and you shouldn't let it get below 1/4 tank to keep the pump cool.
I make a 3/4 tank fillup about every 4 days, 40 mile round trip commute 5 days a week, lots of running around on weekends.

 

I'll have to test that out because i know my car is losing a lot of gas :/ and bad ignition meaning ? Like?

 

Bad ignition usually means coils, plugs or wires.
Components needed to 'ignite' the fuel, if it's not working properly, fuel is burned inefficiently.
Usually accompanied by flashing CELs for misfires, although not always.
*Edit* you are aware that premium gas is a must, right?

 

I also had the same problem recently. But my engine now has a rattling sound now and I was told its the Apex seal blew out. Is that a possibility?

 

If it starts your apex seals are likely not " blown out"
