Please help with a (hopefully) small problem

My 2004 RX-8 has been very inactive due to the bad weather here in Western PA. To be completely honest I probably should have ran it a couple times lately. It's sat for probably a month or so. Anyways, I went to drive it last night and the pedal and wheel were very resistant and when I turned the key the engine barely made an attempt to kick over and just about every warning light lit up. Please tell me this is something as simple as a low battery or something. After the engine replacement and constant pampering I've really had it, although I do admit I'm not a big car guy so I should have done more research before buying.

Please understand I'm not well-versed in cars, just trying to get an answer.

So it doesn't need a new battery, just a jump start?

You can take the battery to Autozone and have them test it and even charge it for free.
Can't hurt...
