Question Performance driving guide and AT questions

I was wondering if any of you guys know of a good book on performance driving or how to improve driving technique. Also, what can I do to get the most out of my AT / Tiptronic trans. (shifting/rev matching...)?

Hi Rx8rider

I started a thread (see link) recently because i felt that all 4at owners

should stick together to share knowledge of our unique car

in the hope we can all benefit without having to search endless threads,

it's our thread!

It would be great for you to ask the question there since i know many come back frequently.

I know we can all benefit from the thread. This is just my view ofcourse but your invited!

Still are there any good books or dvds that demonstrate ways to improve driving techniques. I know that I could improve.

Try searching Amazon with the keywords "performance driving" and "racing technique". You'll find lots.

Also, consider spending the $$$ on a day or so of quality driving school.

Lots of good books out there. I read one by Bob Bondurant and one by Jackie Stewart.
Still, you only get so much out of books. A lot is learned behind the wheel. If you want to push the envelope, it is safer to do on a track, autocross or even karting.
