100% pure profit for Vivid. Pepsi paid for the 8, and the parts. Not sure about the labor. OK maybe not 100% profit, more like 92%.
I seen it in person several time and yes it looks nice. The gauge pod is a one of a kind.

Because I've been in it, watched it choke on the dyno and watched it "drift".
UMS tuning, where I am going in 10 minutes, refused to touch it when Vivid couldn't get it to run right.
It has the basic GReddy kit with an e-manage blue and a, more-or-less, stock GReddy tune.

The mods in that car are worth well over 15-20K

If you took off the ugly Decals, re-sprayed it a solid color, and change the wheel color. It would definately be a looker.

heck for 35K, i would go in and offer 29 and see what they say!

Has that car ever not been for sale? Plus, I wouldn't even buy something as simple as a swaybar from Vivid, let alone a whole car...

$35,000? My offer is $20,000 and it better come with a life time supply of Pepsi products.

BTW, is that the Pepsi RX8 that failed miserably on Best Motoring International's American Touge Challenge?

I wouldn't pay $20K for that P.O.S. Maybe $10K and lifetime supply of Pepsi products

this was taken from the vivid web site: "This car was also the 2nd place finisher and come from behind star in Best Motoring Video American Touge 2 where it beat out the competition to finish second behind a Skyline R34. Driven by Japans most recognized driver, Kazama"

ha ha they probably had the wrong flash tune like Fan man. The engine is on it's way out due to lack of proper tune.
