Parts you would like to see made?

I'm looking into developing some parts for the RX-8 in the future and I'm just trying to get an idea of some things people are looking for so I can do some brain storming and research.

I'm pretty well rounded but specialize in composite (FG/CF) and metal. I'm mostly looking into aesthetic projects, maybe some performance stuff... maybe a VMIC?

Just looking for the forums thoughts and suggestions! more votes for the same parts will help it make its way to the top of the list

**I will not replicate off existing companies parts so do not ask me to make a mold off of RE bumpers etc, I work hard to design and develop my products and I would hate for someone to replicate them so I will NOT do that.

I would also like to see a duckbill spoiler, roof spoiler and rear diffuser. Rear diffuser being at the top of the list.

Rear diffuser, full front undertray that goes from front of bumper to the cross member and oil coolers, or full length undertray if you will as mentioned.
OE Radio dash delete race panel preferably in CF/Aluminum, radiator relocation to allow v-mount ( OE position sucks ***** ), passenger air bag delete pocket cover.

I love the undertray ideas and dash delete panel. Trick is finding a solid place to mount the diffuser. IMHO, I would use the stock exhaust for fitment. Some people DO still use it, and if it fits with that huge muffler, it'll fit with just about anything else.

Thanks for the suggestions! Keep em coming, looks like an under tray/ diffuser seems the most desirable

Some kind of seat bracket alternative to bring the stock seats down a bit. For us tall folk who end up rubbing the roof when wearing a helmet.

Also a convenient and secure AccessPort holder. Something that could clip onto a vent or otherwise, but really stay in place, unlike most cell phone holders.

I would like to see a curved, three dimensional strip connecting the left tail light with the right - reminiscent of the Third Generation RX-7. Ideally it would replace the third brake light with one a little prettier. It could be gloss black or CF - or red/clear reflective to match our goofy looking OEM lights. I'm sure that many owners would shun such a thing because it is purely cosmetic, but I think it would look nice for the extra few ounces.

AB useful sunvisor

A sunvisor that doesn't break apart and one that U can hang something on like a garage door remote. Homelink does not support new door openers.

A passenger side airbag cover that isn't prone to splitting into a million little cracks.

Mabye a form of gauge pod.

I'll cast my vote for proper venting for the OEM hood as well as a gauge pod that I can read without taking my eyes off the road (i.e. not down by the shifter).

I'd like to see an insert that replaces the ashtray/cigarette lighter compartment for those of us who don't smoke. It would be a great wallet storage place. Right now, I use the cup holders and passenger seat for everything.

A dressing plate that would take the place of the OEM air box for those of us with CAI and make different sizes for those who have moved the coolant tank and batt that would give you 3 products that I for one would love to have. I'm sick of looking at the nasty old air box tray under my CAI.

the airbox tray has been made, there are gauge pods fot the dash(where navi would be) and vent gauge pods, plenty of vented hoods out there and the pettit s/c is reliable but expensive
