The second i turen my car on no matter the temp of the engine the oil temp gauge goes straight to 3 ticks over midpoint. Whats wrong and what do I need to replace?

 

Nothing is wrong.

That is not an oil temp gauge. That is an oil pressure gauge.

Except it doesn't actually measure oil pressure. We have no OEM oil pressure sensor in the car. It is literally a dummy switch for "you have pressure" or "you don't".
