Oil Frothing in 2004 Rx8

Hello my name is tom, proud owner of a 2004 Mazda Rx8.

I've been noticing i have a problem that i can't seem to figure out, I've just changed the oil roughly 2k miles ago, and the oil looks frothy as if Water had gotten into it. The oil has a somewhat milkshake color and tint to it. I know the vehicle is NOT losing water anywhere, and i don't believe there is water in the oil.

I've been using Penzoil 5w-30, and just recnently tried penzoil 10w-30 in the vehicle, and the problem has been consistant since i have owned the vehicle.

Any ideas why??

perfectly normal, don't worry.
If you want more info on it, I'd recommend using this site's search feature, there are hundreds of threads on this topic.

Condensation get's into the oil system. If your oil temps don't get hot enough, that condensation can build up. It's nothing to worry about though.

You will understand when you have answered this one billion times and seen it posted 1 billion times.

It sort of like starting a thread......"Hey, what kind of oil should I use?"

Mazda redesigned the oil system. I can't remember exactly what it was that changed, but they pretty much allowed the condensation to leave the dipstick area. I think on the Series I it was sealed off.

Just for you Jedi...

Take a valium dear boy, it's sort of a running joke.

It's sort of customary that in one of these types of threads were AFTER the OP has recieved his answer, that it just gets crazy, silly, and degrades until it's locked.
