is that bad? honestly all i care about really is the quarter and i know imma get flammed but i do alotta street racing nothing stupid crazy but i do track too.

honestly when i first purchased the rx8 i didnt do much research i was thinkin it would be like my tib. or srt4 easy as H*LL to mod. wrong was i lol.

and w/ his exhaust and hyptech programmer . me just airbox mod and tires i beat him.. not flashed or any of the other mods i have not. j/b its been winter and my car is garaged. so our next race ill have all the mods n my sig except turbo which will be early mid summer. butt he will have headers, gears, and plentum and bbtb oh n short throw

 

Your comparing modded to stock...so who cares?

Besides...2k later and the cobra is putting down more ft/lbs efficiently...

RWD > FWD in drag...

 

lol call it what ever you want. really it only hurts the mustang owner more when you say neon?? cause yes they just got smoked by a neon...you cant compare a v6 girly car mustang to a cobra

 

im talkng mild modded neon vs semi heavy modded gts and stock cobras. not stock gt's and and for 3g's total you can do a stage three and be killing the 12's in the 1/4 my stage one got me 13.5 and the 1 stage is only b.o.v. wastegate. and injectors..... really spend150 bucks on a boost controller on a stock srt4 and your gonna be hitting low 13's all day.. but thers no since of argueing about this everyone has diff opinions. but i will agree w/ fwd<rwd with you all day long

 

oh and ya stock 30k plus 300 horse cobra to a 17k srt4 w/ 260 horses.... common now...... not even same class.....

You are right tho...they are not in the same class...one is designed almost specifically for drag racing...and the other is a FWD turblown-econobox specifically designed as cheaply as possible...

 

He's spent more money on his car than you have. Don't be surprised if he's faster. He still can't turn.

 

yea im not biassed on mustangs. just b/c i dont agree them being best bang for the buck or not as easy to mod as an srt4 means nothing on how i think about mustangs.. im just speaking the truth through my exp. but its all good all that matters is by spring time ill have my mm turbo upgrade kit and be draggin and smocking stangs all day long. not much of a corner guy.. guess ill be the odd ball of the site
