No more snow
Despite the cold temps here in Rochester NY, I changed my snow tires and rims to the summer tires/rims, and the 8 came alive!! Despite my snows doing incredibly well this past winter, I was always hesitant to "open her up". But wow, the last three days have been awesome, the car feels so much different with the summer tires. Now I have to find time to detail the whole car!!

and that's probably the #1 reason why i've decided against snow tires. I think i'll go with an ultra high performance all-season before i'd so the snow tire thing.
I couldn't imagine how much different the car must react with snows instead of summers.
Oddly enough, i kept my summers on all winter, and despite everyone saying how traction is VERY limited below 40 degrees, i've noticed barely any difference in 25 degree temps here in Ohio. Then again, i'm not autocrossing either...

stock Bridgestone Potenza RE040
I will add that they have gotten rather noisy though, and seem to be offering a less smooth ride. Not that that really has a thing to do with the aformentioned question though.
