UK Newb from uk

Hey, im new, from the uk, on the uk owners club but thought id join on here to see how you all do it in the u.s, and i must say im not disapointed by any means.

Im 20, which is either a brave or stupid age to drive an rx8 in the uk... (i pay £2000 a year for insurance which is legal compulsary in the uk) on top of the crazy *** prices we pay for fuel..right now its £1.28 per litre for top end fuel... so what $2 a litre so prob about $10 a gallon ... not so lmao at all..

but i dont complain like i have seen many of you getting annoyed with the small few who buy the car as its ...a cool sporty car that will make me look good in my non motoring knowledge lifestyle with my business suit...

I on the other hand researched, seen what its like.. and seen that there is plenty of reasons why im willing to put up with it.. call me crazy.. or a massive enthusiastic lover of these unique beasts..

Anyway if that doesnt show what sort of guy i am then...who knows what will.. hows that for first impressions.

Anyway... i drive the 231bhp model with the 2 tone red and leather interior, 6cd changeger bose etc...
At the moment i have the wheels refurbished gloss black, windows tinted black all round--illegal in the uk for the front two to be less than 75% visibility..looks awesome.
badges done gloss black, few jdm stickers, square jap plate lowered onto front lip. and soon to be lowered, il post some pics soon.

Welcome.
Pay attention to where you put your front plate, you may end up highly reducing the airflow to the intake and radiator by doing so. Not a smart idea considering our enormous front plates.

hey yeah cheers for the heads up, at the moment it sits so its not blocking.. but when i put the lowering springs on it would be needing moved up..which then might cause a problem...
