my apologies! those are very nice, very tasteful 20s in fact. I'm always a fan of those BBS-style wheels, especially in dark colors! Very nice job!

I agree, there is plenty of info on this forum. Remember the rotary is designed to burn oil, the higher the RPM you run it the more it burns. So check the oil level every 1000 miles or so and keep a quart in the trunk. Also never overheat the car.

Function over form. They are a nice looking wheel but anything bigger then 19" hurts the handling. They must be heavy, 30-35lbs + is my guess.

Really dig the rims... sick *** exhaust. I would definetly get racing beats race pipe as well, goes terriffic with that cat-back. Maybe some springs to help that gap in front.

I have and enjoy the racing beat revi exhaust but I believe the tips are too big. 4" just looks ricey to me. Functionaly they are also overkill, my proof of this is that they will melt your bumper if you drive the car hard for a long period of time (race track) sometimes even if you put in the metal protectors.

I had to cut mine out and install some magnaflow duel wall 3.5" tips. Except for the writing, they are identical to the mazdaspeed tips.

I would have to disagree highway... The rev8 tips are perfect. Way better than those stupid tips on the greddy cat-back. And the overall quality of the welds and amazing sound. I've had racing beat exhaust on both my turbo II and 93 fd... they're the best on the market for rotarys hands down.

Well they dont look good when they are covered in melted plastic. Sorry but if I cant track my car because of the exhaust tips, well thats a problem. 4" is over kill and a 3.5" double walled tip looks almost as big and wont melt anything.

Not everyone will agree on looks, thats subjective but speed on a race track can not be argued. Our cars were designed to go to the track, I am not going to modify it for looks and loose the ability to track it.

My main point is to worn the OP that he needs to get the metal bumper protectors (rear exhaust finishers http://www.mazdatrix.com/8exterior1.htm ) or dont drive the car hard for an extended period of time.

Welcome! I would have stayed with a smaller rim that way you could've dropped it down. Nice ride. Prepare to take criticism from your girlfriend/wife about being obsessed with your 8.
