Welcome!

Congrats on the purchase.

Better put flame suit on, the search ****'s will be here soon.

Per Racing Beat (a respected rotary aftermarket company) break in procedure. http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda4.htm

Read the owners manual. It will tell you how it should be broken in. I'm not being mean, but nobody ever reads the instructions. Start there.

You'll probably get a lot of people telling you that you need to do a search and while that can be the correct answer to a lot of questions, but for those of you doing just that it's also helpful to actually assist new people who ask questions like this.
Racing Beat's break in procedure is pretty good and that's what I followed.
One recommendation as well, go get a case of 5W20 oil and keep some in the car at all times. I always keep 3 quarts in the pass through in the trunk.

No need to keep that much! The 8 sips oil very gradually. If you add a quart in 1,500 miles, it's a lot.
