I'm the proud new owner of a 2004 Mazda RX8 GT. Velocity Red Mica with Black Leather. I had a 98 Chrysler Concorde, an 01 Stratus Coupe R/T, and a 99 Durango before this. Needless to say, it's the nicest car I've ever had. I love the car so far, even if I've only had it for a month. It handles like a dream. I'll save you the babbling. But I'm 18, a Senior in high school. I consider myself to be extremely mechanically competent for my age.

I've been lurking here for a week or so. Found a lot of great information. Even did the AUX Hack. Excellent work by the way. Just ordered the LED's from SBLED's for the puddle lights.








Anyone else here in the Cincinnati Area?

I've been reading for a few weeks now
Obviously, I'm aware that I don't know everything, but I've got a pretty good idea of the do's and don'ts of this car. I appreciate the links though!

Thanks man! I work at a dealership, and I had our paint guy mix up some tinted clear, just to get that charcoal look. I didn't want them blacked out. The corners on the otherhand, those are BLACK.

 

I simply love VR Rx-8's. Nice looking car man!

Just did the FogLight ACC mod today. Love it.

As far as anything big? No. Just a few things here and there. Got it tinted this past week. Doing the puddle light Mod. I've got the LED's, I'm just looking for the motivation and weather to do it. I took the headlights out today, and put some SMD LED's in for the parking lights. Eventually it'll get some lowering springs, and a rear sway bar.










I'll get some night pics of the LED Parking lights tonight.
