why did you go thru all that work to give it tires with a larger diameter than what the car is designed for? The stock wheels also look better anyway.

The handling characteristics will be very similar since he went with the same size tires/wheels all around.

will change overall flywheel to ground gear ratios though. Might also create problems under heavy suspension load with a reasonably high angle of steering input.

Of course the power transfer will be a bit different. The speedo will read differently than the OEM but as for the suspension load, it won't make much of a difference.

225/45 to 225/50 is really not that much of a difference.

his RPMs at highway speeds will be a bit lower though.

+1 to that... clear corners are one of the easiest and cheapest things you can do to an 8 and have it look good (they are only like $70 give or take)

performance wise, the car is much more laggy and feels heavy which is expected, ride feels smoother although the shifter vibrates more

and the reason for all this trouble is i had to buy new tires so instead of 160+ per tire i said why not, these tires are decent then in winter ill put the stocks back on with new tires...

but if i get bored ill just sell them for a profit
