Hello,
I just wanted to introduce myself here. I just purchased my first RX8. I will be picking it up in the morning from the seller. I think that I got a pretty good deal on a great car. It is a 2004 Grand Touring, auto, black leather, loaded with everything but the nav system. It has 24,000 miles on it. The color is gray. The seller that I am getting it from is the 1st and only owner and seems to have taken great care of it. The car still has factory warranty till Nov. of 2008 and then dealership warranty over all major components till 2010. I got the car for $14,150.00. The Carfax report is clean, showing all service records. I can't wait to get in it and drive!! I have always been a big truck person so this will be a big change from my 2006 Ford FX4 supercab. I hope that I don't have any problems with the car as I was a little bit sleptical about some of the reviews that I read, but after coming here I think I made a good choice! In case you are wondering I can't wait to mod the hell out of this thing. The stock car looks great, but I can't seem to ever leave things the way they are!!
Please give me some honest opinions about the car and the price. I live in southern oklahoma so that will give you some idea of geography versus price.
Here are the pics from the seller.

I know how to drive a stick......very well actually. The wife is going to be driving this car alot more that I will and she did not want a stick. You have to realize that not everyone is like YOU.....some people like different things. THe car runs and drives great. The manumatic works very well also......so that is stick enough for the wife.
To the rest of you.......thanks for the welcome! I hope I can add and share info with the rest of you.

Assuming good condition (mechanical and otherwise) it is a good deal.
Well done and welcome.
You'll be stealing it from your wife often. Remember to redline. Fun and good for the rotary.

Thanks to all for the welcome.
After having the car for a couple of days everything appears to be in great working order. I have already redlined it several times and took some nice higher speed corners. It hanldes like a dream. My first mod is going to be some wheels, but I am having trouble finding some that dont cost a small fortune. Any suggestions from you all would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Nice 8. Looks EXACTLY like mine (RX8 GT Titanium Gray) except for the Automatic transmission.
That's the only drawback of your car, IMO. Congrats on the 8, though...you'll love it
