Before going any further I want to say I am still loving my car. I got my '07 silver rx8 a little less than a month ago after searching for months to find the right car. I've been getting lots of compliments on it, as it is just stunning and there are hardly any others (if any) around. So today I was out doing some errands, stopping at a few different stores, when suddenly I saw it. Some #$%@ was kind enough to key my car. It is not a terribly deep scratch, but goes under and over the door handle so it immediately stands out. I typically try to find the good in people, but I had a hard time not wanting to find this person and "explaining" to them how people should behave.

Anyway, I now have to figure out what I'm going to do. I'd like to try to do something on my own before taking it to a shop. I read on a previous post that Meguiar's was recommended to somebody who's car had suffered the same fate. Is this the best way to start? Any advice would be appreciated.
