VA New-ish 2009 RX-8 R3 owner checking in

Hi people! I got my RX-8 on December first of last year. I have been enjoying it since... Well I didn't really enjoy the winter in northern VA, with the blizzards and all, but that mostly changed once I got winter tires. I haven't seen many Rx-8s on the road and it seems like this is a close-knit community. Looking forward to learning more about the car and how to take care of her.

Here are some pics. I've named her "Isabella".

Welcome. I grew up in NoVa but now live in Michigan. The RX-8 is great in the winter with snow tires.

Next is to take it to the track, that's where the R3 belongs.

Heh, I used to live in Michigan - miss the weather up there. The only problem with the Rx-8 in the winter is ground clearance. They don't know how to plow in Nova so you get lumps of frozen slush and ruts...

Hopefully I can take it to Summit Point this summer.
