New here, Is this a good deal?

Hey everyone I am new here and I found a great deal. I am buying a 2004 mazda rx8... color is black interior is black/brown its an auto w/ paddle shifters and has 73k miles on it. I am moving from a manual to auto because im tired of shifting and live in MN so winter can be easier on me plus traffic.. Price is $8500 please let me know if its a good deal before I pay thanks!

I had a scion tc fully cutom but now moving to the rx8 family all info would be appreciated!

my second question was how long can an rx8 last? I am going to have 73k miles..seems kinda high but for the price im willing to get it

tC manual and RX8 manual are totally on different planets.
I soooo love the RX8 manual. I drove BMW M3 manual, hated it.

at 73k, you still have engine core warranty. so if the engine blew, you might get a new engine.
$8.3k is pretty cheap, Id look at the care very carefully.

I would highly recommend looking at 2006+ car with the 6 speed automatic transmission. It has a bit more power and is noticeably faster and arguably more reliable.

Any used car can be a night mare.

Ask this in the local Midwest section.

Plenty of Minnesotans

Personally I wouldn't use a sports car in the winter.

Hence don't buy it.
