I just picked up a white 05. I have been looking for a "fun" car for several months. For the money these are tough to beat. I know they are quirky but the fun factor is a tough one to beat. I plan on taking this thing to a track at some point. Anybody here suggest a track?

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the car.
What mods are you planning?
Make sure you read through the stickies and use the search function. There's lots of good info here.

My first mod is a trip to Skip Barber racing school at Laguna Seca. I used to race motorcycles and learned that most people don't have the skills to get the most out of a stock performance vehicle.
After that who knows what I will do. Maybe buy a extended warrenty!
I almost didn't buy it due to the negitive comments on this site.

I am scheduled to go to the school in May. It was a Christmas present. We are going to tie a little vacation around the school. By the way, I will be driving MX-5 and RX-8 at the school. It was $1600.00

I will be using Skip Baber cars when I take the class. It will be interesting to see what they reccomend as far as mods for a track. Geddy turbo! That thing must be sweet. My daily driver is a Tahoe so even stock my 8 feels like a race car. Can anyone share any secrets. What oil and weight, maintenance tips....
Thanks
Thanks
