Dirty pictures :-D
I got a bit tired of all the pictures showing off their clean and shiny RX-8. So here's something new. My black (or is this already enough dirt to call it Titanium? :D ?) RX-8, after a 4.8 mile dirt road to Wilbur Springs.
Boy did I suffer driving that road. It had all these little waves on the surface which forced me to stay at 5 mph and it still was shaking and rattling like hell.
And next day I had to drive my car back! 1 year ago I drove an otherwise fine car over such a dirt road in the Mojave desert and 20 minutes afterwards, my catalytic converter broke. I still believe there was a causal connection between dust and the broken cat.. or is this nonsense?
Anyway, have you gone dirty w/ your 8 yet?

Great idea !
No dirt throwing cheaters though. Mine is pretty dirty, but it is waterspots and ****. Not actual dirt.
I'll post after a few more days of nastiness
I've had no time to clean it !!!

ArGh! I wish I had pictures of my -8 after my trip a couple of months ago..you would not believe it. It looked like I really was 'mud-bogging' it...construction area in the rain for 40 miles. Simply amazing.

What I do find annoying is having to spray on their soap and then sponging it down. I have found I have to move really fast to make this happen before the soap/water mix starts to dry.
But the whole system does do what it advertises.
Now, to me it seems it may take off the wax I put on the car faster than a normal wash because afterwards the rain water does not seem to bead like it would if I had just waxed the car...if you understand what I mean.

rot8ryx,
I've had mine for a month now, used it three times, and washed without it once. There is a noticable difference. Practically no waterspots. I just don't think it's worth the cost. I won't be buying any more refills, but it works pretty well.
