That really blows, sorry to hear.

Call me naive, but i don't understand this 'haters' concept. Seriously! People will vandalize property because they don't like it? Motivations such as perceived revenge, yes; disliking the owner, yes; drunken stupidity, yes; extortion, yes; but what exactly does a 'hater' hate? And what twisted thought process goes through their head that could possibly justify the action?

 

the problem is that when people see u have something they dont ... in their eyes makes u better than them ... they get jealous and want to even the playing field. Making yourself better is hard ... it is much easier to make the other person worse...

Unfortunately this is the general ignorance of the society we will in.

Doesn't look like it got too deep to bare metal, and become a rust issue.

The best thing to do here, then, is just leave it there. I am not being sarcastic here, when the next scrape happens you'll just be more upset by paying the deductible every time.

Picking up battle scars and leaving them be, is the best vandal and theft deterrent.

I have had it 5 years, now it is worth 1/3 of its original value, and has entered beater-car terrirory. I don't think I have washed it in a year, and it is black, well turning white now with all the dried streaks of salt.
