hi ppl!!

I'm going to get my RX-8 by the end of this month.. but I am
still not sure whether to get a brand new RX-8 or a second hand BMW 3 series conv of year 2000..

I love the rx-8, especially the interior.. it's super good.. but the
thing is.. if I use all the money to buy the rx-8, I won't have anymore to modify like I could if I bought a 3 series.. so.. can you guys help me estimate how much it would cost to put on the body kit and stuff??

thanx!

WHOO HOO!!! A RX-8 vs. ____ Thread!!
I was having withdrawals!

Ok, the only answer there is.... drive both, one will 'speak' to you (and not the usual voices in your head). Buy the one that 'speaks' to you.

Hope to see you in The Club!

Body kit and stuff? Most likely $3500 or around there.

For all the stuff I want to add to it, I'm looking at about $3,171.00

Go out and get a Suzuki Hayabusa. The displacement of the motor is roughly the same as the RX-8's, but the vehicle weighs about 2500lbs less. You wouldn't even have to fix it up to outrun every other car on the street any day of the week, and twice on Sundays. It only costs about a third of the price of an RX-8. Plus, chicks really dig bikes.

BUT. If you must get a four-wheeled vehicle, you may as well get the 8. Buying a brand new car is a better experience, and you get to stake your claim to every dent and ding and abused mile that's on the car.

If you're talking about the Mazdaspeed body kit, expect to pay about $5g for the genuine imported variety, or about $2500 for domestic knock-offs.
