I have been researching this amazing car for months. Well, i finally got mine. FULLY Loaded 6MT. It took a while to find one though since the "incident"... Check this out...
I went to my loal dealer to purchase the car. I did of course but the exact one i wanted was at another dealer so it had to be shipped over on a trade. Fine, no biggy, I'll wait. The next day i get a call from the general sales manager at the dealer i purchased the car.
He says, "i have bad news,"
"what?!" i asked.
"Your car was being loaded on a transport truck to be brought over and it sorta got damaged,"
"what do u mean" i asked.
"To be honest sir, It fell off the truck."
"WHAT?!?!?! IT FELL OFF THE TRUCK!!!!!!!" i calmly asked

Then he continued to explain that it was the only one of its kind on the west coast. So i was pretty much screwed.
About a month later after a lot of crying and whimpering, i found one in Pheonix. 2 weeks later, it was here.
THANK GOD!!!

The car is absolutley amazing and so is this Website. I am learning a lot!

When I first started looking at RX8's I was working with a brand new sales person. Very honest....didn't have that "car salesman" attitude. At some point she mentioned that the vallet key was accidentally left inside one of their RX8's when it was driven off the truck. The car was then stolen and found later that night. It had damage to one of the rims from hitting a curb.

As fate would have it, 3 months later, they dealer traded that stolen RX8 for mine!! Gosh, it makes me wonder what my Rx8 went through. Words of advice.....if you can wait, get one fresh off the truck.....and drive if off yourself if they'll let ya
