hey guys iam buying rotary accents off ebay, and all the front ones look good but when i go to buy a rear one they all say this.
NOTE: This accent is not intended for use on RX-8 models equipped with the factory fog light.

my 05 Rx-8 has factory fog lights, why is this an issue?
why are rear accents affected by me having fog lights??

Europen cars come with a rear fog light in that location.

 

iam in the US and i dont have rear fog lights, i have fog lights in the front, so will i be ok buying this?

Maaz, I bought the rear accent and have the rear fog light.
I can not fit the rear accent guess I will have to sell it.
It took me a long time to install the rear fog light. I wanted it to be perfect.
The rear accent seems a bit too small.

Maybe if I had installed the rear accent first then maybe the rear light would have gone in but I doubt it since it seems a bit larger than the rear accent

The front accent was no problem but I did install it using 2 screws and the 2 sided tape. I wanted it to be perfect.

Wish they made a different rear accent that could be installed with the rear fog light
NOTE: front fog lights have no affect/bearing on the rear accent.

I have the rear fog light wired to come on with the parking lights, not used as a brake light since we already have a third brake light.
