I had a car once that the wheel was corroded to the hub. Couldn't get the sucker loose. Even tried loosening the lug nuts, driving the car and hitting the brakes. Still wouldn't budge. Finally had to call road service. He had a 5 pound hammer that finally broke it free.

If a 5 lb hammer did it, so should have a drop kick. I would resort to the drop kick myself.
No, I put the lug nuts back on so if/when the wheel came loose, it wouldn't just roll away. I didn't type that because I thought that was a given.

Really, is that what the dealer said? This can actually be a good thing if you are still under the 8/100K warranty.

Without a chainsaw or a wood chipper (tis the season to think about such things), you aren't gonna get a body in the trunk of the car.

not that I know first hand....
Does that mean that you imported said hooker or you would have to send your car to the PI to find out?
Finding a PI Hooker is probably a lot harder since the closure of the air and naval base there.

Win for all, she got a free trip out of Reno too.

Are you two still living together? Have any divorce papers been filed? If you are not and they have, consider restraining order.

Just showing up in the middle of the night isn't right. At this point, he should be at least calling before coming over. Changing the locks is a good first step, but he can still make noise and disturb your and your neighbors sleep. It is time for a restraining order.

Not talking politics here, but being that I live in a blue state and the presidents home state, it seems that we have received massive funding for road repairs around here. All the roads are being re-paved. The expressways are express no more and the locals are an obstacle course. Driving on the local streets you have to dodge drains and manhole covers so they don't tear up the bottom of the car. I moved to an area of suburbs where I have easy access to the expressways and can quickly get going in any direction. All of these are under construction and even if there isn't any traffic, you have to deal with miles of reduced lanes and lower speed limits. Even if there isn't anybody working on the road and the work seems to be completed.

Your sister is in mansfield? She has Mid-Ohio just south of her. Great track. I grew up about and hour and and 45 minutes north east of there.
I was there in July, I don't remember seeing that bridge. US30 is a pleasure to drive on. Not like the days when I first started going there 25 yrs ago.

I haven't said much on here, but I got divorced a little over a year ago after being married for 28 yrs. I haven't had a full time job in a while, however I do get semi-regular contract work. I got the house in the settlement. November will be the final payment and then I can have a mortgage burning party.

I never had to pay for any extras when any of my engines were replaced. I don't know that any were needed though either.

The 8 was paid off in about 2 yrs. Well before my separation.

We were quite civil in the divorce. We had an agreement on how to divide up the assets before we even went to see a lawyer. Because of the agreement, only one lawyer was necessary, just for filing the papers. We didn't have two lawyers going back and forth fighting over the assets and building up their billing charges.
