what dont you know about nitrous? You spray it into your motor and your go lightspeed fast. You also spray it in your motor and you Might sometimes but not always go BOOM! the end.

hows that? funny since ive been sprayin for about a year now, and have talked many times w/ charles and other nitrous gurus, and read all of the nitrous forums. so explain to me what is wrong w/ my statement? you tell me where it doesnt give you boost and make your car faster, and you tell me that nitrous cant make your motor blow? Just b/c i didnt feel like going into a deep huge book on nitrous b/c its been done over and over b4 so i gave him nitrous for dummies 101 lesson.

Your comment reads as such ("You also spray it in your motor and you can go BOOM!") the end. That if you use nitrous, Period, you'll blow up your engine. That was the interpretation I derived from that.
I think a few other people will too.
You could say that if used improperly it can blow up your engine.

Forgive me for interpreting the wrong thing ifrom your statement

If you read that correctly i said CAN blow up. not will or are going to.

If you use nitrous your motor Can blow up.

If you use nitrous your motor Will blow up...

i used the first sentence.

but i see how it might of sounded if you just read it fast. Not trying to be an @ss or anything guys.

ill change it.

On the serious note, the zex kit is not preprogrammed for the 8, its still a universal kit the only thing programmed is the h/p shot from the injectors for our motor. And even at that it is still a universal for a few other cars. Nitrous w/ obx exhaust would be just fine. nitrous w/ out exhaust is fine. You just want to make sure you have good plugs, coils, and motor is in good condition b4 you start spraying.

besides installation its pretty dummy proof even at that its not that hard. You have a w.o.t switch wich makes it so you can only spray nitrous when you mash the gas pedal. just make sure when you spray you spray above 3800 rpm. also dont spray from a dig unless you know what your doing and are a fairly good driver. when using the zex kit it is advised not to go more than the 55 horse shot any more than that w// out a e mang. your going to hurt yourself sooner than later.

Some do use a 65 and have no problems. thats all i can think right now off the top of my head for someone considering nitrous. Oh and its roughtly 40 dollars for a 10lb bottle to be filled wich will last 25 or so races..

One last thing Nitrous is like herion it is ADDICTIVE. once you go to the boosted side you will always want more!

my motor only has 35,000 miles, i keept oil changes every 1,500 miles and i use 93 at all times. i think the motor is in pretty good condition. although im real veavy footed. But the 8 loves it. i dunno, i just wanted to try the ZEX or NXS, but before i do i just wana know that im going to have a car next summer. i dont want it to blow up b/c of n20. here is what im looking at:http://www.modacar.com/products/Mazd...O/nitrous.html
what do you think about those kits?, and would me having the typhoon intake already on it , affect having n20

On those kits in your link it looks to me those are dry kits, wheres the w.o.t controller? and for 40 more bucks you can get the complete zex kit...... if you want your motor stay away from a dry shot. just get the zex kit no questions asked! as long as you stay at a 55 shot you should have no problems and your motor will be fine. but do realize any f/i is going to be harder on your car than your stock setup, it will wear faster but your not going to blow it up.. well you shouldnt. anything can happen

my two cents.. ask charles hes the gene ***

Edit: I was looking at the intercooler kit not the nitrous, still its not what ide want.

Dude ok go to a/m performance upgrades then click in the search box and type "nitrous" there will be TONS of thread come up many of them started by charles read them! Listen when i say you will not hurt your motor on a 55 wet shot from zex. make sure your coils are good and plugs are good. dont spray under 3800 rpm and dont spray in redline and youll be fine! Im not for sure if charles actually works for them as much as sells the kit, but i could be very wrong since i dont know him personally. buy it from him or go on ebay and for 500 dollars shipped you can get the kit also thats where i got my zex kit, have someonne who knows something about cars help you w/ the install and start spraying! ez as 123

You seem to think it's more difficult than it is... so I'll help a little more...

I went to Aftermarket Performance Modifications, then to Major Horsepower Upgrades and arrived at the link below:

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-major-horsepower-upgrades-93/

At the top of every section, there are threads that have been deemed important and full of useful information/discussions. There's probably 6 or 7 on this page, and one of them is the thread you are looking for. It probably has nitrous in the title, and was probably started by Charles R. Hill. Once you find it, you should have most of your questions answered.
