MyMazda - MazdaUSA website question

Has anyone else had trouble adding their VIN number on the MyMazda section of the MazdaUSA website? Everytime I try to add it, it says my VIN is invalid.

I did it just fine. Not sure why you are having a problem. I would call.

I had no problem- in fact I even entered my VIN# 2 weeks before I bought the car so I could get access to the owner's manual, so I know there's no tie to a vehicle being sold or registered first.

I tried to call, but their offices are closed until later this afternoon for some reason. And I am not the most patient person.

Mine entered fine.

Did you check for the typical problem of interchanging letters and numbers (e.g. letter-Os with number-0s)?

I only used 1s and 0s. Alright, time to call Mazda and sit on hold.

I just got of the phone with Mazda. They verified my VIN and said to try again in 24 hours as they are having some trouble with the website.

Same problem here. I even went into inventory search and did a copy/paste of a VIN from there with the same result.

If they are having problems with the site just wait a bit. They will correct it. When you do get in, its pretty cool. I wish Toyota would do the same.

Their site is having problems right now. I entered my VIN the night I bought it, and it was fine. I tried adding it again this time (as a duplicate) and indicated my VIN as invalid.
