My Second Question
Well I decided that (whenever the opportunity arises) that I will get a
2005 Manual GT Rx-8 in Black Brilliance with Red two tone leather seats.
I have a few questions:
How many inches is the LCD screen? I was thinking about pulling it out and replacing it with my own touchscreen LCD display.

How is the stock bose system? I listen to heavy metal, classic rock, and some new things.. I'm sure it would be a sufficient sound system right?
I plan on doing some interior mods and what not, I suppose I Could make another thread when the time comes, but the question for now is:
Is there someway to remove the center console? I plan on maybe putting in a touchpad, and maybe some usb drink coolers in my drink slots : )
Finally, instead of Red and black leather interior is there blue and black leather interior? Or even white and black?

I'm not exactly sure, but if nobody else pipes up, I'll go look it up. I don't need NAV as I have an internal GPS.

That's taste dependent, IMO it's enough but you may add a sub at some point. You listen to just about what I do, so I think it would be adequate because you are getting the 9 speaker Bose with the GT model.

Yes, you can and when ready, do a search and you will find all kinds of help and instructions. Use the DIY section of the site and read ALL the stickys while you have time.

As far as the bose system.. I think its great. Loud and clear, the audio quality is excellent! In a sound system quality is determined by not being able to tell where the sound is coming from.
Depending on the track you have playing, close your eyes (while parked), and listen... I found that you feel like you're in a much larger area listening to the artist live.
Now its by no means your typical aftermarket bass thumping stereo. It has good bass, but not chest pounding stuff.
I have 2 fifteen inch JL subs on my other car with a rockford 1k watt amp, and another 800watts powering 2 pair of mid+tweets. It's quality is also excellent but goes MUCH louder and hurts your ears
