I was just wondering if anybody else has experienced the A/C problems that I have. When I took delivery of my car in June the A/C did not work at all. I took it into the dealer and they claimed there was no refrigerant in the car at all. There best guess was that it was forgotten from the factory. A/C worked fine for about three weeks. I then started noticing that only cold air was blowing from the two passenger panel vents and warm air was coming out of the two drivers side vents. Took it in again and they fixed a few parts recharged and it was working fine for a few more weeks. Noticed it doing it again and took it in again(third time). They claimed all four vents were blowing mid 40 degree temp. and didn't fix anything maybe they just recharded and hoped it would work until winter who knows. Yesterday, I took it in again for the fourth time and the service manager documented air from drivers vents was 78 degrees and passenger vents was about 58 degrees. So his next answer was that they would probably have to pull the dash apart to try to find the problem after they consulted with Mazda. I am starting to get frustrated. In addition, I asked him if the brakes are supposed to squeal about 1/2 the time I come to a stop and he said that it is normal on the car. Do most of you experience squealing brakes that much? I know they rust etc., but I don't think they should do it. Other than that, I enjoy driving it and handling is great, but at this stage of the game I am much more impressed with my wife's new 05 Legacy GT 5-speed for build quality and reliability.
