i recently purchased my Mazda RX8 as my first sports car.

here are the specs as below

type S
Mileage: 20,000 Kms
Color: Mica Red
pw, ps, ac, leather 2 tone heated seats, climate control,fog lights etc
Country: Karachi,pakistan

After Market: K & N air filter, coils, ngk racing plugs,

things to do: definately going forced induction, oz racing rims with good year slicks,,lowered suspension

and if possible many more.

 

What the heck does "Type S" mean?

Lets see...

There were Sports, Tourings, Grand Tourings, Shinka's, 40th AE's, R3's, and I think Base.

Where are you coming up with "Type S" from?

Pakistan version? Not sure what type S means here in the states.

 

Heated seats but no moon roof hmmm.

 

Never heard of an RX-8 Type-S, it might be a Pakistani version...

 

type s i believe is the 6port high powered version.

we only had 1 version in the US (for mt's), the high powered version.

 

well i neither heard of it for a while.....

but then my mates back in pakistan taught me that in japan and presumabaly pakistan the

type S=Manual 6 speed
type E=automatic

lol

dont blame me for that as i gota go with the flow.

y.....is there a contradiction cant they come to gether.



well they wer a lotta sun roof versions avl for cheaper prices but this was the only one in sound condition.

hi guys could you please help....as i have a feeling my car is a shinka edition.i just checked the features of the shinka edition on the net and they exactly resemble my car.

i just got it recently all documnets r local,so it is not mentioned any wheare.

how ever all i know it is a uk london import.

features are

6 speed
two tone leather interior,climate controol ac ,electric heated seat 6 cd changer

the same features available in the shinka

and if so what are the benifits of having the shinka

 

It's not a Shinka.

 

In 2005, the Shinka only came with the Black Cherry color paint.
