...Blue RX8 drifting like crazy ... spectators = mesmerized.

I was there

What a GREAT time. I didn't drive their 8 because, well, I drove one to GET there The line was too damned long.

I did fairly well (33.19) on the competition for a total amateur. The clinics were a lot of fun.

 

I saw the blue 8 drifting as I was finishing my timed lap - good thing I was at the end, otherwise I would have been tempted to watch and not pay attention to the course! But from what I saw (and the clouds of smoke were huge) it was pretty awesome.

 

the drifting was awesome, up until the driver got a little too tail happy and bumped into the tire barrier, taking out the whole rear bumper!!!

and that was the end of the drift demo for the weekend :D
