Wink My '05 Resolutions...

1- I will not read, reply or even acknowledge any more MPG threads. It's a damn sports car, deal with it or go buy something else. I am sick of these threads!

2- I will use 93 Octane or better. If the price per gallon difference is $.20 and a full tank is 15 gallons then guess what geniuses, you just saved $3.00. Skip a meal at TacoBell and you just paid for the premium. With a fill-up a week you save a whopping $156 per year. Now, how much per year do you spend foolishly? Please folks...

3- I will do everything I can to attend at least 6 local club meetings this year. It's time to meet and greet.

Happy New Year to all!

1, dont read...no problem, but many others will continue to post and read...That's what this website is for.

2 Mazda stated the RX8 should use 91 but 87 is OK, most will use 91+...like myself, over the lifetime of the car 10 years or so...that's $1,500 but...I'm with you, I'd stick to 91 since it's the recommended fuel

3 OK...good, have fun

LOL

Just a reply...

Uh, well I resolve not to start off the year sounding like a person who gets angry and frustrated over trivial things.

I resolve to shift at higher RPM's, check my oil regularly, wash my car religiously, and try not to get a big head from having such a sweet looking ride.

Hehe irish8. I stopped giving a damn about whether my RX-8 was clean. Even if it was covered in mud, I'd still get attention.

Careful... It's a post on a forum, not a meeting with my doctor...

My resolutions:

1. Love my 8, love my 8, love my 8!!! (Gotta have at least one sure thing!)
2. Buy no less than $1500 in mods for my 8. (Ya hear that Thew? Wheres my gold discount!?)
3. Beat the 350Z in at least half of the SCCA races.
4. Learn how to heel-toe with my size 14 clodhoppers. (I can touch all 3 pedals at once. :D)
5. Be a good husband and let my wife drive the 8 at least once a week. (That one will be hard! Ouch...she just threw her slipper at me!)

1 - Take a high-speed driving course.

2 - Dabble in autocross events.

3 - Get a cool jacket to go with the car.

4 - Get a hot babe to go with the jacket.
