"The air conditioner is ice cold for those hot summer days." Haha, obviously they have never owned an RX-8.

But those pics are not like the typical scammer pics, those are actually someones car not some magazine pics.

Who brags about a car's AC anyways?

when its 110 in the valley AC is important lol my AC is good but it isnt great but i still choose it over my wifes car when we go out just for the sheer fun of it

 

looks just like it could be anyone's car...no mods or anything

WEEEEEE I'm bouncing from AC thread to AC thread! I haven't cranked my AC to full fan yet, but I'm not expecting much. So much gawdam rain lately, I'm not sure I'll need it at all this summer.
I think there's a thread around here somewhere about a fix to make it stronger (dealer fix?). Can't remember.

 

Personally, my airconditioner on the coldest setting at at 3 fan speed is like as cold as a normal car (maxima, camry, what have you) at 50% cold (ie halfway between coldest to neutral). i can leave it on coldest at 3 fan speed and my car becomes "ok" when it's hot, but never cold. on the other hand, my coworker turns on his air con in his maxima and 5 mintues later i'm freezing.

if i turn mine to 50% cold, the air is warm. my air con sucks but i don't care too much since i don't use it that much and as long as it works enough to stop people inside from being uncomfortably hot, then whatever.

 

I did the air cond MOD to mine where you hold in the buttons ( saw the post on here thanks guys) and my air is ice cold!!! It was 92 here the other day and I had the ac cranked up and actually had to turn it down half way it got so cold.

 

^What did you do? I don't recall seeing that thread/post. Hold in which buttons?

 

I have a 2006 and I keep my A/c on 1 or 2. Its been around 91-93deg here in miami. We have really wet nasty air maybe that makes a differance, bit it's cold enough for me.

 

for the first time yesterday i felt the "A/C isnt cold enough" problem.
