had my car towed for stalling and now mazda said it needs a new motor 42,000 miles anybody have this same problem

Anyone seen the movie trailer to Day Watch? I hear that there is an RX8 in it.

 

Please give us a history on the car. What is your location(HOT or cold)? We are all interested in, transmission type, oil type and change inerval, type of driving it got(example...easy 15 mile comute, what ever), how agressive was it driven, what type of gas reg-87 or 91 or 93, ever flooded, all TSB done(Tech-Serv-Bul), what service has been done on it, what symtoms have you had?. Just everything that you can of to tell us all. Thanks so much.

 

I would hope that Mazda would take care of that whether or not it's still under warranty. Unless it's been horifically abused that is unacceptable.

I just got my 8 back from having the motor replaced, too.

 

I have an 04 AT thats in the shop getting a new engine and if you search a little you'll see thats its not unheard of. There are many owners on this forum that have had replacements. Some more than once.
