Your Mazda dealer will sell you one esp for the 8. It's expensive, but waterproof.

Earlier in this thread, someone mentioned getting a generic one at an auto parts store.

I plan on getting the one from Mazda.

EDIT: "Expensive" is a relative term. It costs less than 1 new tire for the 8. :D

Received the expensive Mazda car cover today in the mail and was very disappointed. Being I am going to use it indoors more for protection from me the anything else I was suprised that it does not appear to offer any kind of door protection and is kinda heavy. The worst part was trying to get it on the car, I was afraid I was going to damage my paint because I would get one end on but the other end would not seem to fit and it kept sliding off my well polished car picking up dirt each time it fell. I called the place where I bought it to see if perhaps it didn't fit because of the spoiler and he said they have had to return some of the older ones for fit issues but the new ones "should" fit. Anyway I am returning and hope that I can get my money back.

Mine is a daily driver so no rain or snow or fits of traffic congestion will keep it from it's daily route. At home though it get's to rest in the garage. Showers weekly and a full day at the spa ever 4 months.

Hi,

Mine is under a carport, so in the cold. Never had a problem even now with the lots of rain and the lower temperatures. It always starts up right away.

regards
Patrick
