MNAO-my new best friend
Sept 2006 I purchased my 06 GT loded 8. At the end of October I started to experience a variety of problems that the dealer could not fix after several vists and 40 days. I wrote a letter to MNAO stating my issues and what I would like done about it. I was notifed withen 2 days stating they are going to send out a regional field rep. He came out and worked hard on my 8. The problem dispite all his hard work could not get resolved. Mazda asked for some time to come up with another resolution to my problem. I called 2 or 3 times a week for about a month for an update which wasent much information and I was getting impatient. The last 2 weeks I was getting calls from a Mazda field manager who was very nice and stated they were going to put me in another car. Im thinking used as mine had 7500 miles on it. Not alot but it was only 5 month old. I received a call last night from the dealer I origionally purchased the car from asking me to come in today to take delivery of my new 8. I now have a NEW 8 better than the one I started with. 07 not 06, I got to choose the color. and added the spoiler with no out of pocket to me. They said they just wanted me to be a happy customer. From the time I first notified MNAO of my issues they have made good on every promise and have gone beyond my expectations. Just thought I would share...

That's pretty impressive. Sure, we'd all love our cars to be flawless, but the fact that you got a brand new car is pretty amazing to me. Way to go MNAO.

Wow, that's great! Are you going to write them a letter thanking them? It always helps to reward good behavior, regardless of whether it was part of their job or not

It's nice that they did this but honestly they were going to have to do it one way or another since your car would have qualified as a lemon. Grats on the new car and I hope it runs flawlessly for you.

This is why I purchased another Mazda (the 8)and why I would remained a customer - too bad Ford never figured out that an unhappy customer tells all his friends and a good place to eat doesn't need to advertise!

how come MNAO at times kicks *** but more often than not the dealers suck ***?!
Congrats though and nice to see that Mazda knew the right thing to do. I'm sure the dealer would of just said "Them the brakes my friend sorry.. goodbye..."

Totally different experience between MNAO and the dealer.
