Mishaps and Such

Hey guys. I rarely post on these forums but njoy reading everyones stories very much. I learn a lot about the car. mine is only 4 months old and has just over 4k on it (I drive a demo).

I have to get my list of mishaps off my chest, there are a few.

1. THE BIG ONE
Three weeks after picking my RX8 up from the dealer a guy downtown (Atlanta) doesn't know where he's going, blows a redlight and slams into my passenger side taking out the front & rear door, wheel, tire, bumper and a few minor parts on the inside. all in all 6200 in damage.

2. I got my *** kicked on I75 by a damn VW Golf. I know it's embarassing, but as it turns out after following him to a gas station he was running a turbo'd VR6 motor out of a Jetta and running a direct port bottle for a good 15 seconds to catch me, so not quite so bad.

3. Running down a country road I see a puddle of water on the right side of the road and soon realize it's not a puddle, its a pothole. I swerved to miss it and my right rear tires slid in (yes the same one that got hit the first time) and blows the tire AND puts a crease across my Rim. So a mere $700.00 later and a free alignment (Thanks to Jim Ellis Mazda) she is back to normal.

Thanks guys, just had to vent a bit, figured you all would appreciate the stories.
