Miami to Saint Louis Drive this week
So I have to drive back to school this coming week, I'm taking a few days to make the drive. But I was wondering if there were any special preperations I should make or anything I should inspect on the car? Any suggestions would be greatley appreciated.
I was considering a Full Circle inspection at my local dealer, is that a good idea or a waste of money?
Thanks!

I wouldn't bother taking the car in for an inspection. If you've kept up on regular maintenance you should be fine.
You can check all the fluids yourself, lights/bulbs, check tire pressure/tires and if you could always get an oil change beforehand if you want. Make sure to stash a quart of oil in the trunk just in case. I always have one back there in the cubby.
Have a great drive - let us know how it goes.

Before I make any "major" [500 miles or more one way] in any car I cahnge my oil and just do the normal checks and change whatever is dirty and replace any worn belts and stuff.
On the 8 based on how many miles I have already on the car I'd check [have someone to check] the coils.
Other than that I don't think there are any extra things to do....
Keep extra oil in the trunk...

I have noticed making the drive from Northern PA to FL a few times in the 8 and back to nc from fl and pa a few times I've noticed if I set cruise at 73MPH I don't use barely any oil...but it's def good to keep a sqare quart....
and and another must is LOTS AND LOTS OF TUNES!!!!!
