I think it's safe to say that the minute they do, they'll let everyone know about it.

It's pretty much the same car all over the world! I'm in Japan and got one of the first off the line in May.

I had the oil pan fix done pretty quickly. Other than that mechanically the car has been fine. No flooding (although I've always followed the warm-up procedure) and no CEL. Just been through my 6 month service with no problems at all - although the car has had about 3 complete oil changes since new so can't comment on oil consumption.

My major problem is the heat - I really need the aircon fix as my A/C is terrible + the footwell and transmission tunnel gets very hot. I'm interested in the guy who lined under the carpet with heat repelling material. The dealership refuse to acknowledge there is any problem with the A/C - I've tried many times.

Mileage is around 12mpg but it's hard to compare this to yours because it's basically due to the fact I don't cover any ground. I was in two 25km jams the other day - took me 12 hours to cover 80km!

Acceleration? The car flies over 7k but I could do with some more boost between 4.5-7 - I'm interested in a supercharger if one comes out that doesn't invalidate the warranty. Love the DSC - it really lets you have fun before kicking in.

Latest challenge is finding a child seat that fits in the back seat. My baby has now grown up to the next size in seat - some of which have a plastic back that is wider than the back seat. But I'm sure I'll find something which goes back there once I've searched enough.
